Job Description

The Department of Family Medicine at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center invites applications for a board certified Family Physician. This appointment at the University of Vermont will be at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Clinical Scholar Pathway commensurate with experience. 

Administrative focus will be in Family Medicine Berlin which has undergone health care delivery transformation at The University of Vermont Medical Center. Experience in Patient-Centered Medical Homes, quality reporting and accountable care is encouraged. Leadership experience and experience with project management is highly desirable. 

Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) in Berlin, Vermont is a community hospital partner of the University of Vermont Medical Center. In addition to practicing as part of an experienced, collaborative team and teaching in the Department of Family Medicine at UVM with our residents and students, our faculty enjoys:

  • Our faculty participates with teaching in our family medicine residency education program and our medical student educational programs

  • Priority will be given to applicants who have experience providing family medicine clinical services in an academic setting
