The position entails a breadand-butter surgery case mix with call of 1:5 at the University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY, located one hour away. AHMC and CVPH are part of a six-hospital network (www.UVMHealth.org) serving northern NY and VT. AHMC is a 25-bed community hospital with 4 ORs and 1 endo room. CVPH is a certified Level III trauma center. Both hospitals work closely with UVM Medical Center, a Level I trauma center located 1 hour from CVPH.
