Academic OBGYN Generalist Division Assistant/Associate/Professor Faculty Position

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Vermont is seeking a new faculty member for an OBGYN Network Generalist position. We welcome applications from individuals at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level who are board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The ideal candidate will be appointed on the non-tenure, clinical scholar pathway and will demonstrate a committed academic interest in educational programming and/or research productivity.

The UVMMC Generalist Division is a dynamic and academically active group currently composed of 15 physicians, along with CNM and NP providers. Our network hospitals include Central Vermont Medical Center (Berlin, VT), Porter Medical Center (Middlebury, VT), and Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital (Plattsburgh, NY), each with 3–6 MDs and an active CNM service.

The anticipated salary ranges for this position are:

  • Assistant Professor: $275,126–$317,200
  • Associate Professor: $310,818–$350,598
  • Professor: $338,012–$399,324

These ranges reflect the combined total compensation based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Network. Actual compensation may vary and may include additional components beyond the stated ranges.
