The Gastroenterology team at the Larner College of Medicine, the University of Vermont Medical Center and the  University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join their growing, dynamic Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The role includes diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions as well as endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.


The University of Vermont Robert Larner MD College of Medicine and the University of Vermont Health Network are leaders in patient care, medical education and research. UVM Health Network Gastroenterology is an integrated academic division serving 6 hospitals in Vermont and Upstate New York. The ideal candidate will be primarily based at the University of Vermont Medical Center (Burlington, Vermont) as well as share clinical and educational duties at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (Plattsburgh New York).  The successful candidate will be appointed as a faculty attending at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, Clinical Scholar Pathway, in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.


We are seeking an outstanding Gastroenterologist with a commitment to clinical care and medical education. Interests in resident education, fellow education and clinical research are encouraged. University of Vermont Medical Center is the only tertiary care hospital in the state of Vermont and Vermont’s only Level 1 trauma center: The University of Vermont Health Network offers the candidate an established and growing patient population, the environment of a leading academic medical center in New England, an academic faculty appointment with the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont.
