Job Description

Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC), a member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is recruiting a full-time general Neurologist. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a community setting while having a strong connection with an academic center. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain state, CVMC has a reputation for clinical excellence with a staff deeply rooted in our community.

Position Details:

  • Our general neurology practice sees a wide variety of conditions across all subspecialties including epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology and headaches
  • We offer EMG/nerve conduction testing as well as standard and ambulatory EEG testing
  • Due to our proximity and close relationship with the UVM Health Network, referrals to subspecialists for complicated cases are seamless
  • Primarily an outpatient practice, a small portion of time is performing inpatient and ED consultations
  • Opportunities exist for resident and medical student education as well. 

Requirements: 

  • American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligible/certified
  • Subspecialty training is preferred but not required
